I go to Planning Committee, I raise the issue, and then some publicity-seeking, freeloading Tory who couldn't even take the trouble to come to the Committee, and doesn't even represent the Ward under discussion, shoots off at the lip and tries to claim the credit. Brass neck we call it where I come from.
