The honeymoon is over... before it even started.
The Sunday Times Comment on Cameron at the Tory spring conference: "Although he claimed a 40% local election vote share in his speech yesterday, the true picture is that the Tories are achieving a national equivalent vote of just 33%, according to Professors Colin Rallings and Michael Thrasher of Plymouth University. This is lower than the party achieved in local elections between 2002 and 2004, under Iain Duncan Smith and Michael Howard." Surely this is an attempt to talk down the Tories' election chances so that any sort of success can be claimed as a victory? Not even I think Cameron is THAT bad.
