The best two footballing sides (Argentina and Brazil) are out of the competition. If Zinedene Zidane can repeat the footballing masterclass he gave against Brazil, surely neither an ordinary German nor functional Italian team can prevent the great man lifting the World Cup for France (OK, I'm a Francophile, and I know this is also not the best French side we've seen by a long way).
